I wasn't pulling trigger then in Jan 2020 after an oversea travel I've decided to get one of these and got in one of the lower model on sale, but have been waiting for this model to come back on sale again in less than $300 mark. This is the first time it came on sale again in two years yet for additional $100.

Yeah I bought this during that deal. Used daily it lasted a little under the 2 years before I had issues with it. It started having a leak in the tray directly under the Nespresso pod. I had to send it in 2 times before they just gave me a new one. First time I sent it in they said there was nothing wrong with it and said they tested it with 2 pods and it never leaked...Their customer service has always been good besides this issue.

Mine is the basic all black color model, being working fine used daily as of today except the light of descaler clean never turn off (suppose to be off after clean).
I got mine free as part of the last Nespresso subscription offer, and it has been a great machine so far (roughly 1 year ownership.) I do tend to run two of the Original size capsules through it to get to desired amount of coffee in my mug, that's the only downside as far as I can see.
Excluded from coupon. Would have been nice since they bumped up the price two months ago. I have been waiting for Black Friday and no discount anywhere

Keep my finger crossed.
Hey! The same thing happened to me this past week. I ran the descaler two separate days cause the light wasn't turning off.
Some tips that eventually worked out:
- Make sure you fill water a little above the descaler line. We don't actually descale due to the amount of filters we have at home, so we just put a little extra as the original descaler liquid gets the water slightly higher than the descaler line
- Let it run through the first "descale"
- Manual says you must run two additional rinses, so once the initial descale is empty, fill the water tank to MAX this time, and place another bowl under the spouts
- Click the froth or ristretto button to start rinse #1. It'll eventually stop and the froth/ristretto will start blinking (I had to keep clicking these buttons when it was just stuck and not blinking)
- eventually you click it one last time, water empties out, and you're good to go. Make sure you lift the pod lid one last time so the extra water spills into your bowl
