Killer price! I'm exhausted and going to bed now but am going to look at this closer tomorrow. I love the convenience of this machine and also like that it's the best Nespresso makes.

FYI, $100 is only good for 30 days.

My Funds rewards are awarded after all items have been shipped or picked up and are valid for 30 days from the date awarded. Limit one reward per order, $100 max rewards per account; not valid on previous orders."

Was not able to combine the $100 credit offer with the BBB membership coupon discount. But luckily I already have 1 order from BF where the trick worked.

This arrived and I love it! Any recommendations on pods? Also, has anyone altered the size settings and willing to share? Thanks!

Would love to hear comments on the espresso from this. I'm drinking from Keurig but love espresso. However, I don't want to get into the superauto game bc maintenance is not my thing…would rather go to a coffee shop. Where that does that leave me?
Pre pandemic before they raised the prices I was torn between this and the Breville Barista express. I didn't want to be tied to pods and after checking reviews I knew it would take a solid afternoon of practice to get solid shots with a unpressurized basket and good beans as well as proper steamed milk.

The creatista is a good alternative if you don't want to fiddle and get decent shots from the start. However, my friend has one and we both agree there is a noticeable taste difference between her pods/ extraction and my machine. It's comparable to a regular pressurized basket. But she's also not messing with grind size , grind amount, tamping pressure, bean quality, and all the annoying variable that go into pulling a good shot. Both machines will require maintenance.

I think for comparison a little scale is helpful. If a coffee shop with a 4k + machine, good barista, and your favorite beans is a 100, then this machine would be about a 70-80. An entry level manual machine is 75-90 with unpressurized basket. And shots get better as you learn what you're doing.

So where does that leave you? I guess stuck between Delonghi and Breville and if you want convenience vs quality. If there are other people using the machine I'd also recommend the creatista. Even super automatics are finicky enough that other people changing the settings will drive you crazy.
