Newegg sold this for $150 as part of a recent GPU bundle. Any chances I can get some credits?

Probably not since it's double sided DRAM. Mostly not have clearance

For this low a price (not even counting the mail in rebate), that high an endurance rating, and this new a generation of m.2 ssd, it's probably the best deal i've seen so far. I don't much care about read/write speeds past 3000mb/s, since everything that comes even close to that is already imperceptibly fast as hell, but if you can go higher for cheaper, why not?

My only worry is that this thing is gonna go out of stock the moment the sale price hits. Been on the hunt for a new boot drive for my PC and this looks perfect for that price but i swear i can never find something worth the actual money i'm spending. Wish me luck that i can snag one of these or that some better deal crops up in the next couple weeks!

How's this compare to sk hynix nvme m2 that's on sale for $110 after coupon at amazon? Is the sk hynix worth the extra $35?

Really want to know this too. Also how does gen 4 perform on gen 3? Does it max out gen 3 speeds and high efficiency compared to gen 3 on gen 3 like sk hynix p31 or no? Sorry for being dumb on this things

As I understand it, if you motherboard does not support Gen4 speeds, then you will be limited to Gen3 speeds. Still a great deal though even without the Gen4 speeds. At least in this case, if you upgrade your motherboard to a Gen4, you will have a 1TB ready to take advantage of those increased speeds.

Ya that was I was thinking. But do those gen4 max out gen3 speeds? I would expect efficiency and temps to be good too or even better than the sk hynix since it is not using its rated speed gen 4 while on gen 3? But i don't know just speculating...
