it works or it does not, these cheap box's are not know for firmware updates. Which includes googles ccwgtv.

Agreed- I have several of the ONN Box - no issues after update.
I even put the Onn's remote paired to the chromecast and used button mapper to add back the extra buttons. The chromecast google tv remote is too damned small and doesn't have some useful buttons.

I have this and the Onn. The Onn is more stable and performs better than the Dynalink, and it's $10 cheaper. I would avoid this device at this point until they produce an update.

I know my nexus player had a hard time playing heavy mkv/mpg files but my shield processes them like a champ. Has anyone any experience streaming 4k files using SMB on this (or the Onn)?
Also, does this have real android tv or the bootleg tablet version on there?

Anyone who bought this box... I just powered mine on. For some reason, the boot up is always going into remote pairing mode or something. I can't see to get out of the page. Even tried doing a factory reset.
