Seasonic was never an underdog. They've been a quality power supply oem for a long, long time. Lots of people probably have used a Seasonic without knowing it was a Seasonic. Top PSUs from companies like Corsair have been Seasonics in the past.

Got one from Newegg, hopefully I won't need that better return policy lol
Was gonna pull the trigger on the Corsair 850W, but the difference after tax and rebate was about $5, went with the Seasonic instead

Needed one. Good enough for me. I've had a Focus Gold 750watt and 850 watt in other systems and I like being able to use the same cables across different Seasonic units. Otherwise, I might've gone with the Corsair unit.

Definitely prefer dealing with BB over Newegg on a return tho.

Lol. Since i can remember from 10 years ago or more seasonic has been know to be one if not the best psu manufacfure. Was never a underdog. The best psu by corsair are from seasonic

Every PSU I've ever had from Seasonic has had serious coil whine issues. Is this still an issue with these?
