It's 4k only on local network; everything else is 2k or lower depending on connection
I think its more so of a bandwidth feature since it is more MP to push over the internet which seems impractical to view outside the house in 4k when there's many variables such as your mobile provider and device specs on whether it views 4k
It's really a bummer but theres not many hardware manufacturers that puts these things together; eufy is still at 2k and has much better software since they don't have to authenticate the user every single time; getting into the arlo app is so slow on top of having to bring up live feed
By the time it takes you to view the video the event already has occurred at least 30seconds before so you are greeted with just a static empty image
The base station doesn't have thumbnail support if you want to go subscription free; it's annoying when the filter aspects of the local storage is only "motion" recordings and not any other AI labels so you are viewing off all these trying to find the exact time there is a recording; more so on recording theres always a corruption when theres a recording and live feed at the same time; its bad for doorbell users cause you want to get a phone call but the doorbell starts recording at the same time so it can't do both at once — which yield ugly green bars and frozen live views
Ultra 2 only has 5ghz going for it which is the only camera i believe atm that can connect to 5ghz from base station (which is required)
