The wattage is the same and the Kohl's has different attachments:
Slicer/shredder housing
Slicing blade
Coarse shredding blade
Medium shredding blade
2-in-1 food pusher
Not sure what best option is. Trying to get the S.O. her first pricey mixer

It makes sense because the always discounted Lift models all have more power with several having twice the power (575watts) as the Tilt (250-325watts), but that is where it ends. Wattage does not necessarily mean more torque that actually does the work.
Having both the tilt and lift models, the Artisan tilt gets used at least 10 to 1 over the Pro lift. Nobody likes having to remove the beater or whatever attachment to remove the bowl with otherwise no room to scrape the sides and bottom.
And then there is issue with adding ingredients with the lift models, or the inability to spin the mixer attachment a little before removal. No, they have to be dipped back down into whatever you are mixing to remove.
There is a reason why the Lift models are often on sale for half price and like many, I bit for the presumed power and kind of sorry I did. As a matter of fact, our Pro Lift is used so little, that it is back in the box taking up space in the pantry. Sure, the Lift models all have more 'rated' power in wattage than any of the Tilt models, so they might be better for bread dough, but a $50 bread maker does a better job.
Is the OP a bargain? Well, with the attachments that you may or may not need, it is the bargain today for an Artisan. Attachments are not cheap, whereas most of the OE attachments we have are from sellers on eBay at a discounted price. Now, my Mom has every attachment made from a local hardware store closeout, but years later, most are still brand new and never used. KitchenAid does one thing well and that is mix.
i returned the 5 qt professional bowl and ordered this one. the lift bowl was just too hard to use, honestly. every time i had to remove it and snap it back into place, it made a mess. just not for me.
tilt is much easier to use.
if you sign up with kitchenaid, they will send you a 10% off coupon which I was able to use on this deal to make it a $352 with tax, shipped to CA
This comes with two bowls. As I posted prior, the OEM items we have purchased, such as the plastic cover, all came from eBay sellers that were brand new in the box. You first need to find the part number that fits your mixer and then have to watch for a deal.
