really wish they could make the resin process cleaner. i'll give it more time until it's more automated

Whats wrong with the process?? My son wants me to buy him one of these and I have no idea how good they are or if its gonna work right??

These use resin which is very harsh and smells. The finishing process requires cleaning with 91% or stronger alcohol, gentle scrubbing, and exposure to uv light to cure. If wants to make small figures that are highly detailed, these are more suitable than fdm printers. If he wants to make larger prints and not deal with the finishing, then fdm is more appropriate

I have not tried it yet, but there are water washable resins, which eliminates the alcohol cleanup. This is an excellent price on a mono - I thought I got a good deal with two bottles of resin and the printer for $190 early this fall.

Can anyone comment on how this stacks up against a Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K? I bought the Sonic for 350, but it's still in the box, $100 buys me a nice bit of resin, if they're comparable.
