It does not wet mop. It's as good as the higher end roborocks. The only feature missing is the mop which is a gimmick in my opinion.

I bought a S6 a few weeks ago... day and night against my old (now retired) Roomba E6.

The unit came clean and had I not known it was a refurb, it seemed brand new. The box was in rough shape. New brushes, no hair, clean bin, new instruction manual (that my dog made quick work of it right way). Of course this is going to be different for everyone. When you boot it up, you have stats of the last person who used it... their floor plan and run time. Mine was used 3 hours by the previous owner.

I was happy with the results that when the E4 deal came back (sold out last time and now a few dollars cheaper), I figured it would be low risk for $125 for non Lidar vacuum only for the basement. Reviews are promising for a 'dumb' vacuum vs a Lidar.

Does well on hardwood, low pile rig, and no go zones for cords. I don't care about the mopping so can't speak to that.

I bought the S6 and S6 Pure for the same price refurb on their ebay store. No new S6, I believe it is discontinued. S6 Pure just has a bigger mop tank, slightly less sensors (don't know how it affects performance), and supposedly smaller trash bin (information online isn't clear, some says same and other says different)

I have one Roborock and would like to get a second (cheap as possible) for downstairs. I really like the one we have and it would be nice to use the same software if we can get a second vacuum.

The E4 reviews I'm reading say that the Mop functionality as an optional add-on and this ebay posting's own description reads "Optional Mopping - Get the optional 180 ml adjustable water tank to take robot cleaning to the next level. Note: the waterproof pad is not included in renewed package"

Scroll down some more and it lists "Water Tank" "Mop Cloth"

This may be a dumb question but does that mean that this E4 is able to mop out of the box or no?

I bought the refurb a few months ago. I think it was about 150. Came with mop tank and a pad or two. I bought another 10 pads so I wouldnt have to worry about washing them.

I'm very happy with the E4. I have an older vacuum from them, with lidar, but before the roborock name. That one is old and delegated to upstairs.
