Good deal but noting these are one generation old, and also they recently increased their prices… so this is probably as good a deal as you will ever see on these units moving forward if you wanna get in on a slightly cheaper SVS setup

Ya their large pricing increases are unfortunate. Last year did the 2x pb-2000 for $600/ea. Do it if you like to feel your movies.

Ignore the last generation stuff. You don't need Bluetooth control over your subs. I never use it on my 3000 micro sub from svs.

I wanted to spend around 500 only but it's hard to not want to go to the PB2000.

Each sub is $100 more across the board bf2020 vs bf2021.

I don't think their competitors have had as dramatic price increases so might want to wait on their bf deals. I was going to buy the svs ultra bookshelf's before they increased them $100/ea.

I was able to get the pb-2000 from their outlet earlier this year for 550, looks like the deals are quite a bit worse now, luckily the pb-2000 sounds so good I don't really need a second.

Very disappointed. I had hoped for another Outlet deal or at least sales on the new Pro models. I'm still tempted to buy one of these but it doesn't feel as much like a "deal" as i had hoped.

Thanks. Yeah I figured that would be the case. I know its SVS but having a 10" driver kind of bugs me. Honestly at this price, I am tempted to settle for a Klipsch or two and still have $400 in my pocket. Klipsch won't come close to comparing however I am coming from a Polk so I might know the difference. I know these subs are great but the price point is tough now.

in a blind A/B comparison I bet no one would be able to tell last years model and this years model apart based on real world performance.
