Just FYI - this isn't just "Original Monopoly with an electronic bank" - this is a different version of monopoly. Different spaces on the board, different layout, different rules. Not the same thing.

Original is WAY better in all regards.

Is there a feature in this game where a group of unelected people who go into the board game and digitally inflate the asset values of the richest player by 10x and cut down the value of the money of everyone else by half?

That would make it more realistic.

Looks like this is one of the 9x9 modified versions instead of the full 10x10 versions similar to classic.

Seen some reviews loving this version, but personally, I feel like manually calculating the money in monopoly was one of the best features of the game for younger players.

Thanks for the heads up. The only thing I think electronic version is useful is it prevents cheating. Because you have to scan the cards. I saw kids stole cards during the game.

I was about to invest in this but I've already gotten my kid to like the original one and its super cute watching him trade in his change for bigger bills. I decided to play the Sega Genesis version with him and it's basically a better version of any electronic version and it took away a lot of the magic. So, yeah, I'll be passing.

This world is moving backwards. They have stopped the pledge of allegiance, cursive, roman numerals, and analog clocks - now our kids won't even learn to count pretend money.
