Didn't handle transient loads well, or too much voltage ripple, could never figure it out. Video games would trip the power supply. Swapped it out like 4 times. Got a gx series instead.
Which one and you have a 3090? You could always expand and make your comment more helpful to others.
Nope, nothing crazy like a 3090. Ryzen r9 3950x, and evga 1080 ti sc2 gaming. Pulling only 530w from the wall, measured with a killawatt device. I got the 850w gold variant.

I hear you, the 5 minutes it takes to fill out a form and lick a stamp is just too much!
You forgot that you have to fill out an envelope, and walk to the mailbox; the horror!!
It isn't antiquated, it's a tactic. Menard's does it all the time (I still like Menard's but they do it). It's an enticement that allows them to lure buyers with "effectively" lower prices, but which requires an unreasonable obstacle to get said price. They hope and based on statistics, reasonably anticipate, not payout out many of the rebates.
Basically they aren't looking at realistically paying out many rebates, either because people don't file them, don't file them on time, or don't file them properly.

Agreed. The tactic is how rebates are sent as well. Most times the rebate check comes in a yellow envelope that looks like junk mail and people throw it away. I stay away from MIR but there is savings if all works out.
Ended up buying the EVGA G3 supernova 550w off Amazon just to avoid the hassle of the mail in rebate. It was around 60$. This is a great deal if you have stamps lying around though!
