I use to swear by this brand. Then my dog developed some acid reflux issues. Tried everything. Then finally switched her off this food and completely eliminated any Stella products. 4 months later she has no acid issues at all. Obviously all dogs are different but if your dog is prone to acid reflux and vomiting Stella might not be for you.

How's the quality? I've seen many mixed reviews of their other products where customers found plastic pieces or sharp bones.

Imagine the response you'd have if you actually put what it was in the title... 'DOG FOOD'

You can't? Even expensive stores like Whole Foods sometimes have a sale for $3/lb... other stores $2.50 sales pretty frequently.

Holy crap, no. Even frozen bulk stuff costs more than that for me. I'm about ready to buy a half cow or something to try getting a better overall price, but no freezer room right now.

we are usually around $3 a pound here in Minnesota. Sometimes give or take 50 cents for 80/20

I have fed my small dog Stella and Chewie freeze dried meal mixers as his primary food for the last ten years. It's very healthy. However, he does not like the Superblends. Just the meal mixers. Obviously, price wise, it's great for small dogs, not large dogs.
