Pretty much the best desktop deals this Black Friday so far. While there are solid deals on i7's, I really hate i7-11700K CPU's in general and 5600x just provides way better performance for the heat and power consumption. It is especially important in pre-built's like this.

Corporateperk.com offers 10% points from Employee Purchase Program, however I can't get a working coupon code to stack with it. It is still cheaper overall. I am getting $1741 on 5600x and 3080, 10% points brings it to $1567 which is $50 cheaper than non-EPP.

I will pull the trigger if I can get one more coupon code to stack, also hoping for HP to offer a more loaded configuration on Black Friday for 5600x. A bit more memory and disk space, anything!

This is actually a repost of a deal I posted yesterday, but you wouldn't know at a glance because they completely screwed up the title when they made it front page. (It's the one with pavilion 5700g for $1026.)

My original title included a few pavilion and omen configurations, as the whole intent of it was to list several good configurations of both Pavilion and Omen with updated pricing. They made it look like a Pavilion-specific post, and highlighted one of the less popular configurations to boot. (I'm not bitter lol)

Also, I wasn't aware at the time, but others are reporting edu does work with 10gamer2021 code making this 3080 build $1566.

Thank you. I made a edu account with my wifes address where she teaches. I was able to get the 3080 for the 1566 price. I couldn't pass on it. I debated between the ryzen 5 and 7 but went with the 5.

That's kinda any prebuilt with current market pricing, as that's by far the most expensive component to buy individually. But this one is also paired with a 5600x, with brand name parts. You can upgrade to 512gb for just +40 more, and these also have more than one m.2 slot if you want to just add your own 1tb nvme to it.

Yeah, that's kinda odd. I don't know the specific models they use, but pretty sure the ti would use more power. On partpicker a 5600x with random 3080 and 3080ti is about 400-425w vs. 275w with 5600x and random 3060ti.

People going in for the 3080ti in this deal are less likely to intend to use it in this system at least, but I would think the psu upgrade should apply to both 3080 options.
