If enough samples of your relatives get tested, They still can find out it is you.

Not sure about the PO Box, I don't see why not though.

Fake name, yes. I used a fake name at first but because I started seeing more known relatives and wanted identification to be easier for them, I now use my real first name with the first two initials of my last name.

Mind your privacy folks. If the government comes knocking with a warrant, they will turn it over, no matter what their terms say.

Yes but they can do this even if you're not in the database. Plenty of murderers have been caught using DNA because their relatives submitted their own DNA, the murderers did not. If law enforcement gets a partial match using your DNA, genealogy research will lead them to you eventually. Currently, law enforcement does not have access to 23&Me, you have to download your DNA data and then upload it to an outside database and consent to law enforcement having access before it has the potential to solve crimes.

I personally didn't give my real name at first because I didn't know what to expect or what type of nut jobs I might be related to and didn't want to make things too easy for them but it didn't take long for me to feel at ease. Just remember that people are using the info for genealogy purposes, so your information can mess with their family tree and research.

I'm more than happy to share my DNA if it will help solve crimes, as should any innocent person - it's a good thing!

Keep murders off of the streets and give families closure, the only ones who should be nervous are the guilty.

Right. Not to mention you get a $20 Amazon gift card with the referral link you posted above for every person you talk into giving hading over their most personally identifiable information - their DNA. You should be ashamed of yourself.
