Wow, after a lot of people just a couple of days ago bought their deal, they now throw in a free case? I guess they like people making returns. I'll do that if GameStop matches the deal.

It appears the the credit works on anything sold by Amazon, and digital only refers to the fact that you won't have a physical gift card/code in your hands.

I pinged Amazon to see what my options were and they to simply buy another and return this (duh). I tried but it only allowed one to be purchased. So they said to try to order in a few days. I brought up the fact that they wouldn't be available in a few days. Then they said they would refund the difference. So I suppose that's what everyone needs to do, contact amazon, get that track record, try again in a few days, and reach out to them with any issues.

I'm on chat with them now. They gave me an instant refund on the headset only and now the system is locking me out of purchasing another one. What a sh!t show.

Well well well - look what our OP has found, a gem. I was on chat and they gave me run around about return and refund and etc.. and etc.. I stuck to my guns and told them to refund me the difference for the case so I can go buy one, and they ended up refunding me $49 as Amazon GC (my choice).... worked well ... thanks OP!

I am trying everything to get my current CS associate to help me. Clearly you all are getting lucky Smilie

Edit: offered a $25 GC as a courtesy. I'm still pushing.

Finally. Took a lot of back and forth, with an abundance of reminders about "one time exceptions", they issued the second $25 GC (what's funny is one of the $25 came from them refunding one of my orders from last week that totaled $25.08!).

This was the best: "Please do understand this is an one time exception and Amazon wont offer Price match exceptions in future"

Compared with Sam's Club bundled deal: you essentially get an "elite strap with battery" for an extra 80 bucks at Sams Club. Retail on those is 109 bucks. So Sams deal may be better if you are looking for a powered upgraded strap. Sam's Club charges 5 dollars shipping.
