If you have gmail and your account hasn't been inactive for 30 days, use the +1 trick. So if your account is [email protected], create a new Hulu account at [email protected]. It's the same account on your end but Hulu will see it as a different email address.

Good deal. Just want to take the time to say that the number of commercials that you have to sit through on their regularly priced ad supported plan os nuts. I could see 1 1:30 minute break during an episode, but there are like 4 during a 40 minute episode.

Shit. I just posted this too.

I'm waiting until the 27th as I think my current plan ends on the 26th.

The commercials aren't bad, but if the show is current the commercials are loud! Current shows have 3-5 90 second breaks. I'm currently watching MASH, if you fast forward (and not skip) the intro there are 1-2 other breaks. It's still less commercials than watching open air TV.

Managed to activate my old account with this deal only after using Paypal with Discover. The account had Discover as payment and somehow would error out everytime till I switched to Paypal.

None of these "tricks" work for me. Using alternate email addresses, alternate payment methods, or [email protected] does nothing. I ended up getting charged the normal price by accident after trying several times. No matter what I do, it just says I'm not eligible. Kinda sucks, but oh well.

I hated their ad supported version. There is just sooooo many ads. It seems like they are making it as annoying as possible to get you to sign up for the ad free version instead of just enough to cover the difference in cost. IMO it's not worth it. It's worst than regular TV with their scheduled ad breaks.
