If you have gmail and your account hasn't been inactive for 30 days, use the +1 trick. So if your account is [email protected], create a new Hulu account at [email protected]. It's the same account on your end but Hulu will see it as a different email address.

Good deal. Just want to take the time to say that the number of commercials that you have to sit through on their regularly priced ad supported plan os nuts. I could see 1 1:30 minute break during an episode, but there are like 4 during a 40 minute episode.

For $12/yr, completely worth it. Ads are a great time to use the restroom, grab a drink, check email on your phone, etc. No biggie.

I have rotated between 2 accounts for the past few years to get this deal. Didn't think it was going to happen, so signed up for the student account at $1.99. Then today, this. Canceled my other one and rotated to my other account for the $0.99 deal. Thanks OP!

The virtual card trick worked. I guess Citibank and Capital One have this feature where you create a temporary card number used only for this merchant.
I have been trying for 2 days, 4 emails and 4 cards were not eligible. I guess they match any credit card you ever used on your old account.

I am trying a previous account from two years ago with a new (.) dot in the email. Looks like account is created put won't let me signup with a plan. Getting message,..We could not complete your request right now. Please try again later. Anyone else seeing this?

Edit: Working now. Site must have been having problems.

When going through a cash rebate site starting with initials RM for an extra $2 off, it shows the promo available as a plan without having to follow gma link etc. With PayPal and chase card also 5% off. $0.99x12 - $2-5%, Now that's a slick deal, even with ads.
