If you have gmail and your account hasn't been inactive for 30 days, use the +1 trick. So if your account is [email protected], create a new Hulu account at [email protected]. It's the same account on your end but Hulu will see it as a different email address.

Good deal. Just want to take the time to say that the number of commercials that you have to sit through on their regularly priced ad supported plan os nuts. I could see 1 1:30 minute break during an episode, but there are like 4 during a 40 minute episode.

Just make another account with a different email. I go back and forth each year.

I have an expire Hulu, another ending in 2 days, but it wouldn't let me use the expired credentials. It realized I had a current account, so even with a different email and CC, it insisted I pay $6.99. I had to create a 3rd account, email, and CC to get it to work.

What about the dot (.) trick? Will that work? I must say I didn't know those tricks existed, I googled the + trick you mentioned and I saw there's another similar one but with a dot (.) Will that work and how is it different?

Anyone else having a hard time getting the promo? Tried putting in a different CC and it just says it's not working and kicks me out.
Are you connecting through a VPN? I got a similar message until I turned it off and retried.

I see a lot of hype for this but why would people pay for ads? It makes no sense to me. Also this would be easy to forget about in a year before getting charged full price again Smilie
It's $1 a month for access to current season shows on a easy to navigate platform that's on every device.

Ad free would be better, but for $1 I know what I'm getting and I can watch these shows on my schedule with ads less than the ones on regular TV.

I watch broadcast TV, Tubi, etc. and mostly don't mind ads, but previously felt bothered by Hulu's ads. Don't recall specifics to decide if it would feel less annoying at this price.LMAO Pretty sure they had more ads than NBC broadcasting during prime time.

Hulu is only showing about 10-12 minutes of ads per hour, compared to 18 minutes for broadcast TV, but Hulu ads can seem more irritating because they often show the same ad over and over. (probably on purpose to make upgrading more desirable)

People pay $100+/month for cable and satellite service, and sometimes close to that for live streaming, but a lot of you are completely flabbergasted that anyone would pay $0.99/month for a service with ads. "OMG, I don't understand???" Rolleyes2

Well, not if you take 10 seconds to set a reminder on your phone.

Just a heads up not all shows are available, had this deal 2 years ago was able to watch every show with ads, last year certain shows asked to upgrade to premium account to view.
I never noticed this in all the time I had Hulu. The only thing I noticed is using the built-in app on older Samsung TV it would sometimes not show the most recent additions, I would have to search for them. Didn't have this problem on Firestick or Roku.

Reminder, movies don't have ads, except at the beginning. The only ads are in TV shows or original series. And it isn't even close to how bad cable TV ads are. Usually they are only 1.5 minutes with a countdown timer.

That's probably a huge factor. laugh out loud But I feel like broadcast TV shows I watched weren't quite that heavy on commercials. For $12, I'm going to try it and find out.

Thank you for this! I already have AZ Prime and rarely watch that. I was wondering what HULU had to offer. I also see that "The Killing" is on there. I reallly enjoyed watching that one as well.

The number of advertisements and increase in volume for advertisements is ridiculous
