That's not going to happen, Square Enix games rarely go below 50%, this will probably never be less than $10.

Lol. Never going to happen. Octopath Traveler, also from Square Enix, came out in 2018 and the lowest price that has ever been is $23.99. So, if you're interested in this, waiting is pointless.

Unfortunately playing this in portable mode in switch 2 is fugly. It stretches 720p to 1080p. Just hope they patch… but they probably won't

Not related to this deal but if anyone has a Quest VR headset around they actually have a full VR port of this game on that platform that's surprisingly fun. VR doesn't add a whole lot but it makes the little dioramas a bit more fun to see and move around in. There aren't a lot of meaty games to dive into with mobile VR so something to consider.
