If you have gmail and your account hasn't been inactive for 30 days, use the +1 trick. So if your account is [email protected], create a new Hulu account at [email protected]. It's the same account on your end but Hulu will see it as a different email address.

Good deal. Just want to take the time to say that the number of commercials that you have to sit through on their regularly priced ad supported plan os nuts. I could see 1 1:30 minute break during an episode, but there are like 4 during a 40 minute episode.

Just make another account with a different email. I go back and forth each year.

Any CB offers from any major credit cards?
Not a CC, but TCB says $2 CB. Believe it when I see it.

Why are there ads when you pay for a subscription?
Subscription cost $12 a month. However they can sell it to you for $1 a month if subsidized with ads.

You might wonder why not free? I would guess they want your credit card number on the account so the jump to $12/mo without ads, or the other paid service like Starz, is as painless as possible. It's much easier to get someone to splurge with a single button click if they don't have to get out a credit card.

Heard disney+ is being forcibly added to hulu plans. I wonder if this would net you both subs for $1 per month.

I still can't decide between paying $12 for a year of this and $6/mo for espn+ or $180 for a year without ads and $6/mo for espn+ and disney+. THAT is how annoying their ads are. I am debating paying freakin fifteen times as much money to have the ads out.

Not 30 days, seems more like 2 years now. The account #1 I used till Nov this year and the account #2 I used till Nov last year didn't work for this offer. I had to use account #3 that I last used Nov 2019.
I've gotten by with 2 accounts now into 3 years, each time I use a virtual card and lock it when (just before, after the 12th payment) the year ends, so never have an issue if I forget to cancel, though I do that, too.

This year I'm using Capital One's new feature to auto-lock the card (using Eno, their browser plug-in) a week after the 12th payment.

Yes. It's truly not worth it unless maybe you're a pensioner in the Russian Federation living off of 400 rubles a month

I don't see any ads it does require fees too. Weird it's almost like it's totally consistent across all plans and they plan to turn a profit

Ad blockers work wonders on Hulu ads. I haven't seen any ads the entire time
The ads always block themselves for me aside from one platform on PC. Still annoying and life is too short to mess around

Find a friend who likes sports or mando and share the espn Disney+ Hulu complete with them and call it a day

yeah, but I want it for certain shows regardless. I already have it without ads. But yes I don't like supporting them for doing that. Meanwhile peacock is not NEARLY as many ads and at random times of day it shows no ads at all.

Not worth it to watch ads. I'd rather pay full price for non-ad sub

I don't want to go through 26 pages of comments to find this answer, so sorry about asking this question if it has been answered, but is there a way to secure your account's payment method? It looks like a family member can share an account (2 streams at once) but I'm not seeing a way to prevent purchases from being made. It looks like someone could add HBO or something else without re-entering CC details. Is there something I'm missing?
