I tried with an old Hulu email account, but was ineligible. Tried with a new email, but was ineligible.
Figured out I could not get the offer to go through until I switched to a different credit card than I had used before.
Note: The failed attempts have created new logins since the ineligibility was only determined after entering my info and then CC.
If you can, I suggest using (or switching to after account created) a fresh virtual card (e.g. Citicard) set with a low limit (e.g. $3) and expiring Jan 2023. Just in case you forget to cancel before rate changes.

If you have an existing account and want to access this deal, you can delete your Hulu account (Login, select Account, click California Privacy Rights, click Start Deletion). You will need to verify your email, etc. but this will delete your account and you can sign up using your original email and credit card for the 99c deal. You will lose all of your profiles and watch history. - bargainr
Free Hulu: Use a barclay's credit card. They will waive the .99 charge at month close assuming you dont use it for other charges/expenses.

same people griping about ads every year on these hulu deal posts. don't like ads then pay for the no ad price and simmer down. stop being babies. ads on hulu are no more than 90 seconds. i guess some of you have never watched broadcast television.
I signed up and now browsing around. Most everything I see is just showing season 1 of the shows I am looking at. I tried to look at "Family Guy" because I know there are many seasons now, but again it only showed me season 1 episodes.
I am pretty sure I just don't know how to use the service, but can someone tell me how to look at current episodes of popular shows?

You're paying for the privilege to view ads. Might as well go the extra mile and just whip out the ol' bittorrent.
Also, stay mad.

Because it's stupid to pay for a service that is already making money off of you by supporting their service with ads. It's an insult. People shouldn't support companies that do shitty things.
(Leverage Redemption and Almost Paradise were pretty good by the way)
Does Tubi, Crackle, The Roku Channel, Vudu-Free, Peacock-Free, or Pluto TV have original content in the free plans?
