Pros: Great price with promo code
Extends current membership for another year
Good for both Windows/Mac versions
Cons: Really didn't need the full retail box version with the CD. An email with the activation code would have been more eco friendly.
Overall Review: This is the version you want if you just need to extend your membership (just make sure you're under 180 days from expiring). I've been using Quicken since the mid/late 90's so using a different free/paid software just isn't an option for me. Yeah it's a bummer that you have to keep paying a yearly fee but they do keep the software updated with new features and bug fixes (same as Adobe Cloud, Office 365, etc.).

How long can I extend my membership plan?
A membership can only be extended in the last six months of a subscription term. Therefore, multiple terms cannot be purchased and used at once to extend a membership. Retail purchases: Activation codes expire 24 months after being generated.
