That's pretty far violating the spec. It probably depends on what kind of LEDs they are, but I'd say you definitely risk it either not working at best, or killing the device at worst. It may work for a little while but then die prematurely.

I personally wouldn't choose to use it for that application.

You would be 40% over spec, ie not recommended. Depending on your installation, it might not be that difficult to split the load to two separate switches.

The ZEN30 is built for a typical light+fan setup, but doesn't have speed control for the fan. Any of the ON/OFF switches (ZEN21/26/71/76) should work for low power fans.

I had a Zen71 connected to a bathroom fan and it died in a month or so. Tech support was great, replaced it with a Zen30, and said that while some smaller fans might be OK, they don't recommend using a fan with anything other than the relay on the Zen30.

There are several things included in the sale, so you would have to be more specific. However:
The zwave devices are not homekit compatible, without an integration through a zwave controller and hub like home assistant.
The aqara products are to an extent. Most of their hubs are homekit compatible, but not ALL of the sensors are. For example I don't believe their cube and a few other things get carried in when linking to homekit. Also the camera that has a hub built in does have homekit secure video and can act as a hub, but some of the sensors don't pair with it for whatever reason.

Don't make the same mistake I did if you want a good z-wave smart home. I installed a bunch of GE and Ultrapro switches. While they're reliable, they lack a lot of functionality, like scenes and smart bulbs compatible. These zooz are cheaper, better quality and have all these options.

Good deal. I'm almost done replacing all my switches.
I have ~30 Zooz devices in my house connected through a SmartThings hub. I've gotten them all through The Smartest House. I have nothing but good things to say about the brand and the website. Their technical support is second to none. They are responsive and incredibly knowledgeable about the product. These are some of the most reliable (and affordable) smart home devices I've ever found.

The electrician that installed my wiring (and most of my switches) when I built my house called me a few weeks ago to ask what brand the switches were, he said they were the best smart switches he'd ever installed and he wants to recommend them in the future when a client asks about smart lighting.
A bit more complicated than that.

Zen 2x is Z-Wave 500 Series, and Zen 7x is 700 series. The 700 series has a newer zwave chip, supposed to be better range, support better security, and the 700 series also has some extra features like programmable LED color.

Inside the 2x or 7x series, the second number defines different types of switches.

So an x1 switch (that's Zen 21 or 71), is an on-off switch with relay.
An x2 switch is a dimmer.
An x6 switch is another on-off switch, but with different wiring and different load requirements.
An x7 switch is another kind of dimmer with different wiring and different load requirements.

All of them have different load requirements, and different wiring requirements, the way you use them in 3/4 way circuits is different. (A 77 can be used in a 4-way, but a 72 cannot).

Zen72 can support 150W of LEDs, but 77 only 100W.

Zen72 requires rewiring the slave switch in a 3 way configuration, but Zen77 does not. I think the same applies to Zen71 vs 76.

There's a lot of subtle differences depending on your use case.

Just FYI, the smart switch states only 500w max for incandescent and 150w LED.

I just installed the Zen32 scene controller in home assistant a few weeks ago and it is totally worth $25. Great scene controller that does exactly what you'd (probably) think. I now have five buttons that can be programmed for an absurd number of functions.

Thank you, updated. It was $75 just a few days ago so I didn't bother checking again.

I bought a lot from this place then a couple of months ago, none of my credit cards go through there. I even did their special shop pay and it still voids my checkout. All, even shop pay, works at other places. Emailed them several times and was ignored. Guess I will continue spending my money at other places that want my business….

The Aqara devices are apparently Zigbee but still need their hub to work. That is a total fail for me. I do not understand using a standard but then making your devices proprietary.

UPDATE: According to multiple posts after this one, these devices will work with non-Aqara Zigbee hubs.

Also, I have Zooz devices and I like them.

They have about 10 different kinds of smart switches/dimmers and each one has a different wattage rating. Some as low as 100W LED.

Google around. They work without the hub.

They're only officially supported on their hub, but they can be made to work on SmartThings with very little effort

I only have experience with Aqara motion sensors (bought 1 from amazon for around $22 but then bough 4 more from aliexpress for $48/4). Motions sensors connect directly to my hubitat, i expect other devices to connect directly to any 3.0 zigbee hub the same way
