I just installed the Zen32 scene controller in home assistant a few weeks ago and it is totally worth $25. Great scene controller that does exactly what you'd (probably) think. I now have five buttons that can be programmed for an absurd number of functions.
Don't make the same mistake I did if you want a good z-wave smart home. I installed a bunch of GE and Ultrapro switches. While they're reliable, they lack a lot of functionality, like scenes and smart bulbs compatible. These zooz are cheaper, better quality and have all these options.
Good deal. I'm almost done replacing all my switches.
I have ~30 Zooz devices in my house connected through a SmartThings hub. I've gotten them all through The Smartest House. I have nothing but good things to say about the brand and the website. Their technical support is second to none. They are responsive and incredibly knowledgeable about the product. These are some of the most reliable (and affordable) smart home devices I've ever found.
The electrician that installed my wiring (and most of my switches) when I built my house called me a few weeks ago to ask what brand the switches were, he said they were the best smart switches he'd ever installed and he wants to recommend them in the future when a client asks about smart lighting.

I bought a lot from this place then a couple of months ago, none of my credit cards go through there. I even did their special shop pay and it still voids my checkout. All, even shop pay, works at other places. Emailed them several times and was ignored. Guess I will continue spending my money at other places that want my business….
The Aqara devices are apparently Zigbee but still need their hub to work. That is a total fail for me. I do not understand using a standard but then making your devices proprietary.
UPDATE: According to multiple posts after this one, these devices will work with non-Aqara Zigbee hubs.

Buyer beware.
Also, I have Zooz devices and I like them.
They're only officially supported on their hub, but they can be made to work on SmartThings with very little effort

I only have experience with Aqara motion sensors (bought 1 from amazon for around $22 but then bough 4 more from aliexpress for $48/4). Motions sensors connect directly to my hubitat, i expect other devices to connect directly to any 3.0 zigbee hub the same way

Google around. They work without the hub.
