Anyway, It is worth every penny. Thats why I just snagged this one at only 35 bucks. One for my house, and the other for my gf's house!

YMMV
Probably would a good move to find their nests (nails or latch points under outside rafters) and get rid of those. But you probably know that. Cut off nail tips with a dremel below surface and hit with a dab of Day 1: wood putty. Day 2: sand em all, then dab prime them. Not much work, just 2-3 days of execution.

1) waiting for the fly to land and stay still is a PIA
2) the aim guide is kinda useless, if you aim using the guide you need to raise the gun perhaps an inch to really hit the fly directly; perhaps they improved the guide if they did come out with a new model. I saw someone on YouTube attaching a laser pointer to the barrel so it gets better aim, lol
3) it takes me at least a couple shots to kill (or at least totally sting) the fly, sometimes I do get it in one shot, it depends on how accurate my aim is (see 2 above)

- there are usually no guts unless you shoot point blank. Much less gross cleanup than a traditional swatter
- much longer range than a swatter and generally easier to hit
It doesn't leave much salt on the ground unless you are taking multiple shots. Generally I don't bother cleaning up salt as it doesn't leave a big mess. Will never go back to a swatter.
My only concern would be keeping it away from kids, because it is NOT a toy and nobody needs salt shot in their eyes.
