Yes, or cancel the batteries after order, or just never pick them up. I am a massive Makita guy but I think you should just grab the DeWalt kit for $99 as its a much better tool and it will allow you to take advantage of DeWalt deals later too.

You can also buy a $16 adapter for battery. I use my mikita batteries on my dewalt tools
