We had this - use it about once a month and it fell apart after about 8 uses. First the light cover came off then the handle separated. Garbage.

Bought this earlier from a best buy deal. Handle broke apart in 2 uses. This is crap. Save your money.

I agree ours stopped working in about a year. Went with a Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker it's going on at least 5 years.

i've only used mine like 3 times so can't speak to its durability but works well enough for me. waffles came out good and the batter didn't stick (I use trader joes' batter mix)

$15 is about how much I would pay to get pancakes from a diner near me a single time, so I feel it has already paid for itself

if you just need something for occasional use, i feel this does the job

I went with a Flip Side by Presto. Works much better just wish it had a timer built in like the ones in hotels.

Spend the extra money to get one with removable plates. The Hamilton Beach 26031 is $40 at Amazon. Trying to clean out grease from a waffle iron is a PITA. Just get something that can go in the dishwasher.

I would not buy this again. Looking for a better one. Better construction and quality. Lasted less than 6 months and was unbalanced opening was a mess because while removing the waffle the machine would close and pinch fingers on a hot surface. Never again.
i highly recommend the Presto Flipside, It makes almost hotel quality waffles, so great and its like $40 normally on amazon.

This waffle maker is great if you don't mind spending forever trying to clean it. I used mine a few times and ended up just throwing it out. Do yourself a favor and get a model with removable plates

I've had mine for a few years now and it has worked quite well. Granted, I only make waffles on occasion, so it's not like it gets heavy use. But it works wonderfully for a $10 (at the time) waffle maker. My only complaint is that it doesn't brown and crisp it as much as I would like, so I leave it in longer than the recommended time.

This or

https://www.macys.com/shop/produc..._pos~zPos1 for $17?

I had the long handle one a while ago and it was fine. The short stubby handle bothers me.
I can't speak from experience, but I did look at both... WTF is up with the dimensions for the one you linked to, though? "Approx. dimensions: 1.32"L x .94"W x .7"H"

Not a fan of Belgian waffles. The waffle to crispiness to syrup ratio is just all off =/

If anyone wants this for free in the Bay Area, Cali its yours. I've only used it once.
