We had this - use it about once a month and it fell apart after about 8 uses. First the light cover came off then the handle separated. Garbage.

ive had a cuisinart 1000 watt belgian waffle maker forever that was $60 that is more or less the same design

i do the king arthur flour sourdough waffle recipe. the cleanup is so easy because it doesnt leave a trace of batter on the inside, wonder if people have bad batter recipes or this one just has horrible nonstick.

the presto is pretty interesting because it has 1100 watts though

Maybe quality has gone downhill. Have an old one from years ago that's been used countless times and still works great.
