That seems pretty low for a modern day laptop right? Other deals have battery life of 8-12 hours.

I do not know which one to keep.
What is the best way to run 2 external monitors with this laptop? Will one of the usb to hdmi adapters along with the HDMI port allow me to extend the display across 2 external monitors? I would like to leave this closed on a shelf and use wireless mouse/keyboard and 2 external monitors for browsing & lite office work.

I am planning to return mine as I am keeping the Best Buy Lenovo Ideapad 3. If someone want they can take from me. But I guess it's too much to ship.
Why and how much the lenovo was as this seems best deal with recent price hike

I had the same issues that others mentioned in this thread, with the computer lagging, and Chrome also lagging. I don't know what devil's anus software Dell installs on these machines by default, but a wipe and re-install of the OS fixed it for me.
I had a USB to ethernet adapter, which was crucial for what I'm about to say:
I ended up using the Windows 11 media creation tool and created a Windows 11 USB.
If you don't have a USB to ethernet adapter, you can use the Windows 10 media creation tool, and install Windows 10, and then later update it to Windows 11.
Then:
I went into the BIOS, then display, and turned off the EcoSave crap that was dynamically altering the brightness of the display. Then I went to the HDD/Storage settings, and changed it from RAID to NVME.
Then: I booted from the USB, formatted just the OS partition (the 400+gb one / the one that's labeled OS), and re-installed Windows 11.
DO NOT delete the other partitions, and DO NOT update the firmware of the NVME drive. I don't know which of those two things caused my previous hard drive to eff up, but I had to go to office depot and exchange the laptop for another one.
Windows 11 setup requires internet, so I plugged in the USB to ethernet, and then finished the install, and all is right as rain.
No more lag in any applications, and Chrome works great.
"Like many reviewers here I had extremely slow browser performance out of the box even though all other functions were quite fast. Even days after all the updates had been completed. I fixed the issue by going to the settings in the individual browsers and deselecting "use hardware acceleration when available" this has made my browsers perform lightning fast. This seems to be a windows 11 problem and not an issue with the computer itself.
Hope this helps."
