we all have to keep things in mind like: paid posting, multiple accounts, friends of poster, etc.

It's omnidirectional, so you can be anywhere in the room and still catch the exceptional bass, solid mid-range, and vocals with clarity being projected through you. This unit puts out way more volume and thump than you would expect by looking at it.
When my first Go + Play was stolen, I tried an Onyx Studio by H. K. But it wasn't breathtaking like the Go + Play. I now own a Go + Play 1 (used on Craigslist) and a Go + Play 2, and I couldn't be happier.
Oh, and about the list price, they have always been overpriced, that's for people who just want to buy the brand name. If you want a bargain, if you want a slick deal, you'll notice H. K. has sales all the time to bring the price back down to earth some. But I've never seen $160 for a new unit. That price is so good I'm considering buying an extra.
