Well, I am a second person IN THIS THREAD confirming failure of the Series X controller in under a year.

I've owned multiple MS consoles and the new controller has some longevity issues.

I also used it less than half as much as my PS5...

My experience suggests that paying $6 now is better than 50 or more later. You disagree?

I have a BNIB Xbox controller that was used about 5 times, the button started cracking. I put it back into the original box after use every single time

If you have hundreds of controllers than you don't use 99 of them. Also drift on joycons is not a user issue Nintendo was about to get sued if they didn't fix them.
