I don't really think it's luck, I have owned almost every console since NES, barring the N64, so, NES, SNES, Gamecube, Wii U, Switch, PSX, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox original, Xbox 360, Xbox One, S, X and Series X and multiples of a lot of these and never once have I had a controller not work. They all charge, they all move as intended. So no, I think it's just people abusing their toys. I don't even treat my stuff super carefully, I toss all my old systems and controllers in those giant plastic storage totes, then I take them out and use them every so often.
So call it luck, but my personal experience says differently.
That's just discrimination. No Genesis, no Sega CD... SEGA SYSTEMS MATTER(ed)!!!
Dude, I have owned probably about 100+ controllers for every console you can think of and never once have I had a single issue with any controller. Never even had joystick drift on my Switch Joycons. People's controllers have issue because the people using them abusively or incorrectly.
Dude your full of crap. The joy con's get drift buy barely using them

So much bickering lol. I hope I don't regret not getting this. I missed out on the Halo Elite Controller and was thinking about filling that sadness with this, but I think I'll have to pass even at this price.
I agree with you on OEM controllers I've had consoles since Atari 2600 to NES to Genesis, etc etc all the way to PS5 now and Xbox Series X on order and never had OEM controllers fail, EXCEPT the Switch Joycon drift. I did experience that sadly so I guess anything is possible.

Imagine defending the giant corporation Nintendo for their trash product. Yes, you're totally right EVERY SINGLE PERSON WITH ISSUES is simply a monkey that can't take care of their things and you are the only intelligent, enlightened Switch owner on earth.

I've never had issues with drift either, and have games for thousands of hours over the years across multiple systems. I guess we're just extremely lucky lol

100+ controllers? You've never had issues because you apparently buy a new controller every 30 days. 😂

I Bought one of these controllers from MS for 69.99 plus tax.
THEN, I jumped and bought one at WM WITHOUT the code. When I saw that promo, I bought again and canceled the first order.
I thought I'd try to help others from not making the same error.
I rep'd the person I got the code from too, though IDK why rep even matters really.
I will update my post with "credit" for the promo, but it sure is a lot easier to criticize the efforts of others than to post helpful deals, right?
So call it luck, but my personal experience says differently.
