Dude, I have owned probably about 100+ controllers for every console you can think of and never once have I had a single issue with any controller. Never even had joystick drift on my Switch Joycons. People's controllers have issue because the people using them abusively or incorrectly.
I'll go back to fixing my stacks of controllers over here that I get on a weekly basis.
I guess I got super lucky here. Almost puked the trigger on an open box deal on bestbuy for $55. Glad I searched around more and found this deal. I'm in the Triangle area in NC, and literally found the last controller among all the Walmarts here. Didn't know about the coupon, but $52 total is a lot better than $80+
i actually have other products like the pokemon box in my cart which is over $50 but didn't see this coupon work - wasn't sure what was the criteria for it
Did you use this coupon previously on another deal?
Was anyone able to successfully pickup this controller from a local store in the DFW area? My first order got cancelled due to item not available and second order at a different location is currently delayed but I have little hope at this point.

I picked one up in Chicago. It's in all the stores in Illinois. Weird
I got an email that said "one of the items you ordered in out of stock"
It was the controller. Even though they claimed to have them when they took the order. My Walmart sucks.
Is this something that may be a collectible or is it just labeled that way? I mean are there a lot less made of this 20th anny vs the others?
One good way to check on questions like this is to look around for where it's in stock. In this case it seems to be sold out everywhere, and Microsoft does have a history of releasing limited editions once and never again.
I'd say if you like the design, go for it, as it's only likely to be harder to find and more expensive in the future. I wouldn't plan on it being an investment or anything though

If my controller dies or fails in any way, I get a replacement for the cost of the plan...
Won't be worthless then.
Also, my peace of mind is worth the $6. I've already replaced my barely used Series X controller. 90 day warranty is a joke.

I ordered yesterday and opted for some brown sugar, because needed instead of gum. Got email this morning saying controller out of stock.
Started new order using a different Walmart and added $1 gum. That let me do in store pickup today instead of forcing curbside pickup tomorrow.
Total was $42.82. Picked it up an hour ago.
Edit: Had to use new email account too after out of stock cancelation. Couldn't reuse promo code.
