Looking for a cheap PC to use with a 4k display. Any of these work? Would mostly be doing small programming.

Judging by the Aurora listed for close to $2k in this list for what is listed at $1399 elsewhere on the site, Id be somewhat suspect of these prices

I really need a new laptop for work. Would you all consider this a good deal or should I wait for a better price?

Has anybody tried using that 55" conference display as a TV? I'm curious if it's any good for that use case, or just overpriced. I really don't want to deal with the junky software that comes with most smart TVs.

That's kind of pricey for an rtx 3050 imo, does your work require a graphics card?

I do have to say I love this laptop though, I have a 15" XPS from work and it's an amazing machine

I do a lot of backup voice recording for work (courtroom stenographer), so need something with good recording and sound. I'm not really technically savvy about the graphics card stuff. I could go with the 13 which is cheaper that has the Iris Xe if it would work just as well... I liked the ports and the regular sized SD slot on this one...

No experience here, but you'd be paying twice what a mid-level 55" 4k TV goes for these days. You could get a 55"+ OLED or 80" LCD tv for the same price.

I browsed the laptops and monitors and there weren't any especially good prices, but nothing seemed out of line versus other retailers, either.

have you consider a Raspberry Pi? it can do 4k and more than enough for programming

OLED as a computer monitor will surely get screen burns

A lot of people use LG C1's as monitors with no burn in issues.
