My best recommendation for new players is to put stats into Agility and Vitality for the protagonist! Nothing else needs input as the standard growth of the other stats is more than enough to beat the game. Agility is needed to avoid ambush and Vitality is needed for defense (and therefore preventing game overs!) You'll thank me later.
