Yep I was getting the error too and it was because I had already built a bundle and forgot to empty my cart

Agreed…. I bought one for a friend and had to apologize for the options and didn't want any of the games myself to try to lower the price (I didn't upcharge him nor would I anyone).

I got one without bundle for myself from Walmart a few weeks ago.

Thanks, that was my issue. I couldn't clear the cart from my phone, had to use a computer.

I just needed to take a minute to say a big THANK YOU to you for this tip. You have no idea how frustrated I've been since last Friday when I got the first invitation email. When I got that I thought it was awesome since I couldn't find one anywhere. It's Christmas gift for my kid (and me). I got the email Friday evening and immediately tried to buy. My credit card company, in their infinite wisdom flagged the charge as fraudulent though even though I responded to the text they sent that it was me. After three fraud flagged attempts I started getting the "something went wrong on our side" error. Over the last five days since Friday I have chatted with 5 different agents who all told me different confusing things: there's a block on my account, it needs to be escalated so it can be cleared, etc. Was supposed to be cleared yesterday when they sent me a second link but the same problem happened. They told me to try different devices, different browsers, clear cache, etc. which is ridiculous because I'd tried on my Windows laptop, InPrivate browsing, a virtual machine with Chrome, iPhone, iPad, etc. Then one guy yesterday said he knew what the problem was and could have it fixed in three hours and would call me back. After 5 hours he hadn't called me back so I chatted with a new guy and he tells me the problem is that it's out of stock. You have to be freakin' kidding me. Talked to him and got nowhere for a long time. He tells me to wait for the other guy to call me back because that's the guy that promised to fix it and get me a console. Well after all of that I checked here, saw your suggestion, went back to my link where it showed my cart was empty but when I clicked the cart, sure enough, the bundle from Friday was still in there. I could tell based on what game and controller I added since I'd tried different combinations since then. I emptied it and built a new bundle then boom! Successfully placed the order. Out of stock, Mr. Support person, huh? Hours of chatting with 5 reps and hearing different things over 5 days got me nowhere but your short suggestion did the trick. You'd think they would know that and could have told me that on Friday. You are awesome!

It's because you can get the the elite 2 controller and the deluxe edition of some of the titles. You don't have to pick those.

There are elite controllers and more expensive games. The cheapest bundle is $565 for a regular controller and gta V.

After getting the email and clicking the link, was getting "we are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found". I called Microsoft Customer Service (877-696-7786) and they are aware of the email issue. She confirmed my account and said that they would be send out a new link. I can confirm I did get the 2nd link and works.

I paid 30 for gta 5 and 65 for controller. I then contacted support last night and got price adjustment for 15 off controller and game. Was pretty hassle free especially at like 1am.
