No it wasn't. It's been 15% off for a couple weeks and now it's 20%. I've been waiting for it drop to $100. Might have to bite now.

There wasn't a chip shortage or supply shortage last year…you have to include other market variables too, not just "it was lower price x year"… yeah graphics cards were $300 too…

I had no luck with these at all. First failed at 27% while trying to clone my original Samsung. Second one failed at 17%. Got a Samsung and the copying went without a hitch

No, this is a Gen 3, you need a Gen 4.

Yeah, the back in stock soon means as soon as I return the one I paid $244 for two weeks ago. Not my fault Amazon doesn't price match their own stuff…so they get to pay two extra shipping fees.

There have been numerous reports of off-brand SSD stopped working or performance slowed down significantly after 2-3 months of use. Can anyone vouch that this is a reliable drive?

SK Hynix is a major manufacturer who makes all of their own components. This isn't off-brand. But the deal is also dead.

Same here. Bought the one at $210 a few weeks ago, but never opened it. Will just return that one (return window is all the way until Feb 1) when this one arrives.

When I installed this in my lenovo legion 5 pro the oem 512 gb ssd is the same brand.
