Stupid question, and I'm pretty sure it's a long shot but curious is there any way to purchase this (or any Sam's Club product) without being a Sam's Club member/knowing a member.
Additionally, it is an in-store only? As I'm not near any Sam's Club location. Long shot I know... but I guess amazon is only $30 more without all the hurdles

No, Costco doesn't price match. But Best Buy does match Sam's Club sometimes, YMMV, sometimes they'll give you a hard time, warehouse pricing, are you a member, etc. it may also depend on the price difference, $10 is easier than $40.
