Is this a good one? Seeing so many kinds of Dewalt sets, greatly appreciate it if someone can suggest one set which has most of the bits for home needs. Thank you!

Reviews mention bits getting stuck in the magnetic bit holder. I had that exact problem on a similar dewalt set, and ended up just pitching the bit holder and the bit that was stick. Harder to justify without the bit holder…

Look at the attached picture above, bit holder is for the short bits only. Putting the long bits in the bit holder is not recommended. If you really want to use the long bits in the magnetic bit holder, the work around is to pull the retaining C clip out. It will work with out it.

DeWalt bits are legit. I don't use their magnetic bit holder as you need a pliers to get the bits out. I have a kobalt one that doesn't require a tool for bit changes.

I only buy Dewalt or Milwaukee bit sets. Other brands have serious quality issues.
Spend a little more for those two brands, don't lose the bits, and you're set

X2 what he said. The bits are legit and the new cases are my favorite of all brands. Worst mag holder of all brands though.

I know the photo shows tiny bits will work. Doesn't matter what you put in there. You need pliers to yank them out.

Edit: I should add. 2 brands that the mag holders work better are Milwaukees and Bosch. You can remove the bits with your hands on those 2 brands. I like the bosch one the best as it's the easiest.

Works great until you remove the contents from the packaging and expect them to work without disintegrating...Santa is passing these out to those on the naughty list.

You are a idiot and thread crapper. Someone should take your tools away junior!

No, not if you use them right. Some people would rather thread crap, than learn to use their tools the right way.

Totally a different bits, but if you wanted the angle head that was a great deal.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm not familiar with power tools at all. Would this set be compatible with the tool(s) from this other Lowe's deal?

Yes, this will work if you use some common sense, but understand that 18 volt tools are very powerful. An 18 volt drill can destroy any bit you use, if you operate it wide open.
