About a 9% discount. Not terrible if you need it now, but you can typically beat that with PayPal/Newegg sales on lowes cards.

Also, something to keep in mind for anyone using Lowe's gift cards if you return a purchase that was made with a gift card or an online order is canceled your gift card isn't refunded but you are issued a merchandise credit. You can't use merchandise credits online, and in the case of an online order being canceled you have to wait for them to mail you a physical card.

Does anyone know if you have to purchase $100 in two transactions or if you do a $200 GC if it'll send you $20 and not $10?

Not a bad deal, however if you are willing to take the extra step, Kroger has a 15% bonus (about 13% off) if you purchase a $50 Happy eGift Card,:

Lots of 10% off merchant offers from Chase/BoA where you can buy Lowe's GCs these days. Don't mean to trash this deal, since it's still useful for those who don't have access to those offers.

I had multiple 15% off JCPenney $15 max offers from Chase/BoA, and used it on Lowe's GCs recently.
