Can't tell what 3060 version this is. Compared to the $850 15.6" deal from the other day, this is $250 more after equalizing RAM / storage for an i7 instead of i5 and nicer looking laptop.

How does this compare with the MSI Delta for $1,300 at Best Buy besides monitor size? Debating between the two.

The Delta is faster but slower and Ray tracing but you're probably not going to use Ray tracing with a 3060 mobile anyway

Last year or earlier this year, wasn't this the sell price for a similar last gen but with 10th gen inte and a 2060?

just got this laptop less than a week ago. wonder if they will just refund me the $300 or will they make me return and buy it
I think they will do a price adjustment. I bought mine about 26 days ago knowing that it was going on sale today and I called this morning and they submitted the price adjustment.

I bought this a few weeks ago for my son and we've been slowly setting it up and using it. It's really nice. Do not underestimate how huge it is. The power brick weighs nearly as much as my ultralight work laptop. It's hysterical that the keyboard has no trouble fitting on the machine and it includes a number pad. I know that the display is not great by gamer standards but it looks beautiful to your average person, the RGB lights are fun, we've had zero issues setting it up.

My son builds games in Godot and plays Minecraft and is super happy with how those have been running.

Just simply ask for price adjustment. Every item purchase from Costco is eligible to get price adjustment within 30 days of purchase. You don't need to bring item for return. They will refund your difference.

How do the specs of this laptop compare to a similar desktop like this - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DHTWR5N that was also $1,199 recently? Looking for a gaming system for my son. Both will be connected to a monitor.
There are much better options for desktops out there. If you're buying this just to have it always connected to a monitor and never moved then just get a desktop. Desktops will always be superior if similar specs. Search for desktops on the SD search bar and tons of options will pop up. Dell actually has some really good deals going on too. I just placed an order for an Alienware r12 last night.

Was wondering the same thing and was able to find the spec sheet based on the model listed.
https://storage-asset.msi.com/spe...UE-046.pdf

Says max 130w, which is think is the highest the 3060 goes. I was wondering about the screen and it only says screen is 45% NTSC, but can't find the nits.

Thanks. I'm happy with the Cyberpower purchase, but I keep seeing deals for systems with an i7 and I start debating on whether I should get one of those instead.

It's worth it because at the same price you paid for the Cyberpower if you include the cash back and possible discount codes.. Then you'd be able to get one with an i7 and a 3060 ti instead of the 3060 and the i5 from the desktop you linked. I paid just under $1200 including tax for mine for an i7 with the ti

How's this compare to the Lenovo Legion 5 in terms of build-quality quality, screen and cooling?
Wondering this myself. There are some Legion 5's with 3070's I'm eyeing at Lenovo.com, and after various cashback and credit card offers, I could have a 3070 machine for not much more than this with a 3060. Costco's return policy and extended warranty are definitely a factor though.

I picked up a Legion 5 Pro deal a couple of weeks ago and it's a fantastic machine. But with this being a non-Pro model, I really don't have a good idea of which is best between this GE76 and Legion 5.

How does this compare to the Acer for 1099 listed here?

https://slickdeals.net/f/15441784-nitro-5-gaming-laptop-15-144hz-ryzen-7-5800h-16gb-512gb-ssd-rtx-3060-1099-99?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Not sure if the extra 100 is worth it except for the screen size and extra warranty

Edit: Also this one seems EXTREMELY big and heavy, where the Acer Nitro 5 seems only really big and heavy. I've heard issues with the build quality on this one feeling cheap as well.
