Deco x60 for $40 less at Costco claims same 7000 sqft coverage- though max 3000 vs 3600 speed. But I like the shorter form factor and the all white vs b/w 2tone of this model

Finally for a change I have a solid reliable Wi-Fi network all around the house with out the family complaining about drops. I have a wired back haul between all 3 x60 satellites. A very important thing to note is you can't have any d-link switches anywhere in your home.
My home is about 3200 sq foot with a pretty decent back yard. Although I am a techie I just got tired of tweaking around the router settings and as I purchased from Costco I had the warm and fuzzy feeling of retuning If it did not pan out. More importantly this allows me to extend the mesh with a stand alone satellite which you can pick up for cheap in eBay.
This X60 at the $220 price point has been a rock solid choice for me, sure I don't get granular controls with a great web ui, but I now have a reliable and functional Wi-Fi network at home and reasonable controls to control network access for my kids.
Now my brother and one of my good friends who is no techie has it too and finally for a change all 3 of us are not whining about our home networks.

Edit: oh another issue that came up lately is - some devices can't connect to AP if I use the same name for both 2 and 5ghz. and it only fails sometimes.

Orbi will also have link aggregation and more lan ports, etc..
Almost $100 difference may be worth it to some..
New firmware update can be crap shoot with Netgear in general, and they charge many features for an extra fee, but tp-link is starting to follow this model too.
They both probably don't give you much control, but Netgear is probably better than tp-link in both privacy and control, as with tp-link you must sign up for an account, download app to use it. To my knowledge, tp-link won't let you use a browser to access the router settings, all must be done with an app.
I have the older Orbi with RBR(S)50 at three properties, all hooked up to MyQ. I can't remember how I did it, but it was a pain at each place (along with other IoT devices). It looks like some users have posted links. I haven't looked at them, but check them out.
I think my first setup I used an ancient router that only had 2.4, set everything up, then disconnected it and setup the Orbi guest network with the same SSID and PW.
On another setup I'm pretty sure I turned down the 5ghz strength as low as I could and cranked the 2.4ghz as high as it would go, then placed the router node as far from the MyQ as I could while still giving it enough of a signal to setup. Make sure your satellites are off when doing the setup - the premise of this method being 2.4 has farther range than 5 so you're trying to take the latter out of the equation.
As with all of these things, patience is key. Funny how all these things that are supposed to make our lives so much easier often require hours, sometimes days, of frustration. But once (if?) they finally work they're great!

This or the X68? I see the 2 pack is on sale for 209, and I don't have wired back haul
