Not sure about Conns but Skyworth is a legit brand. In China it's the third largest TV maker, just a little behind Hisense and TCL.

Update: Installed the tv today. It's awesome! Picture quality is great, sound is great and the inbuilt Android tv is awesome without lags. Powers on instantly. For $300 it's an awesome value.
