No thanks. I've converted everything to electric at my house. Small engines are a PITA, noisy and bad for the environment. This is a great pressure washer plenty of power to clean driveways.
Also a $299.99 gas pressure washer is probably junk.

That's 2GPM at 100 PSI. Very misleading. Compare that to a gas at 3000 PSI and 2.3 GPM. Absolutely no comparison. This drops to 1.1 GPM at 3000 PSI. That's less than half the flow of water. You can buy a damaged 3000 PSI gas pressure washer for $50 on marketplace and a pump for $85 on Amazon all day long if you need a real unit to clean siding or a driveway. It's 4 bolts and 10 minutes. The pumps are all cast aluminum and will crack if not winterized. Doesn't matter if it's electric or gas. You have to drain them. I use these for a business. The electric are fine for washing a car, but too slow for larger jobs. You don't need to pre-soap with a strong gas unit. With electric it's imperative to get a similar clean, and takes 2x as long or more.

I disagree. I'm done dealing with oil and leaks and storing pressure washers for the winter. Go electric and you won't go back. Literally just plug in and push a button and the only things prohibiting me from going electric years ago was that gas ones were so much more powerful but with this model (that I own) it keeps up with any reputable gas powered pressure washer.

Thanks (and thanks OP -- both repped). Looks like this is going to be my first "didn't plan to buy this" Black Friday purchase. I have never purchased a pressure washer because I didn't want to go gas, but also knew that electric ones are weak and unreliable. So I just periodically paid somebody else to pressure wash my deck and patio.

QUESTIONS (since I've never used one):
1) For cleaning a deck and patio, do I need a surface cleaner? Sounds like I do.
2) For a 3,000 PSI model like this, do I need to buy the big 15" surface cleaner? It doesn't say so on the Greenworks website, but the smaller one on sale at Amazon [amazon.com] says "up to 2,000 PSI"
3) Do I have to buy a Greenworks brand surface cleaner, or are they universal?

Unless you're cleaning a small 200 sq foot patio that's with your condo, I don't really recommend these weak electric units for large driveways and such unless you got plenty of time to burn. The true measure of a pressure washer's ability to do work over time isn't PSI, it's gallons per minute. The only decent electric pressure washers I've used run on 240 volt outlets. These >$1000 units put out over 2 gallons per minute which is about on par with $300-$500 gasoline pressure washers

1) you don't need one but they do make the job much easier in many cases, and it is easier to achieve a uniform look
2) if they say up to 2000,likely something is relatively weak in the design. I am guessing it would work but probably would wear out quickly (may be even right away)
3) for a typical pressie washer, they are universal. Possibly they made a proprietary connector but it is unlikely, probably too much effort, regulation... Not enough money to make to bother. They are two standard sizes of quick connect, it sure what they are anymore. But that's probably something to be aware of. Also know that the psi is only half the equation. The flow of water is equally important.

From experience you'll need to get the bigger one. The smaller greenworks one will not handle the pressure. They last about 20 min before the seals blow out, trust me on this one I went through 2 of them.
The surface cleaner makes the job a lot easier the turbo nozzle works well, but takes much longer.
I've been using mine weekly for a few months now to wash the cars and clean the driveway and patio. Absolutely happy with my purchase.

I am not sure if I am violating any TOS. However, I watched this guy's review last night. Seems pretty thorough.

This one is for the surface cleaner accessory.

Thanks. I appreciate this. I'm not cleaning a driveway, but have a flagstone patio that's about 225 sq.ft., and a trex deck that's about 350 sq.ft., and I want to clean them once a year. That's all. Suitable for that?

Does anyone know how well, or does it at all, work with a surface cleaner?
Which surface cleaner does anyone recommend for this?
Anyone have any experience? Thanks
I use this with the green works 15in surface cleaner for my driveway and it works just fine. Even better if you buy concrete cleaner and spray it on the concrete first (there is a nozzle to do this). Also be sure to sweep off the driveway first

That being said I'm sure some gas models would work faster, but I do this 1-2 times per year and like that this electric model has been zero maintenance and instantly starts for me

Thanks. Just don't want to buy the Gas ones bc really only need this thing once a year in the Spring to do my patio. Don't want to deal with an engine for the very occasional use. I did order this. Where/How much is the surface cleaner? Also tell me more about how to use the concrete cleaner??? Thanks

If you only use this once a year, then why not rent? Serious question as someone that lives down the street from multiple hardware stores

Even though this is a very powerful pressure washer that I would like to own the inconvenience of dragging an extension cord along with the pressure wash hose and the garden hose, and the annoyance of detangling is enough to deter me. Speaking from my past experience with 1800psi Greenworks electric pressure washer.

I bought a Troybilt 3100psi pressure washer when Lowes had a sale on it 3 years ago, very happy with the convenience to lose the electric cord. Pump saver every winter, and some Stabil in the gasoline.

I noticed that as well. I went to look up a gas powered one to compare the verbage to see if it is normal to list the gpm at low psi and it isn't.

The following is from gas power pressure washer: High pressure is 3100 maximum psi at 2.1 maximum GPM, high flow is 4.5 maximum GPM at 150 maximum psi
