1) Buy a six month sub and redeem it. (1 ticket per month)
2) Buy 2 more and redeem them, adding 12 credits to your sub for immediate use with rollover.
For $120, you get 13 tickets available immediately, 5 more added over the next 6 months, discounts on additional tickets and concessions for the next 6 months, and a total of 1 year to use your credits (as they're good for 180d after membership expiry according to their FAQ). I didn't see any taxes added to my purchases here, either.
If you're a parent buying for your family and you see more than two or three movies at a Cinemark annually, this can definitely be a good deal.

Just added 12 credits to my existing 1y sub for $6.67 a ticket. Great deal if you visit Cinemark a couple times a year with your significant other and/or your kids.
If you have Movie Club, you get 1 credit that accumulates monthly during your sub, and you can buy 1 additional ticket per showing at membership price (which means around $9 I believe) and then additional tickets at regular price sans online fees. If you regularly need to add those extra tickets, these credits build up your pool right away that you can use while your monthly credits accrue, which for me is a no-brainer. I'd have probably ended up buying two discounted and two full priced tickets in the next two months alone and spent more than this.
Worth noting from the Cinemark FAQ:
"What happens if I do not use my credit during the month?"
Save them for later, of course! All unused credits roll over and don't expire for active members. If an account is terminated or canceled, the credits remain available for use for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days.
"Is there a limit to the number of credits that can be used in a ticket transaction?"
A member can use any number of available credits in a single ticket transaction. However, the number of transactions is limited to three (3) per day.

Edit: Nevermind, I get it. It adds the tickets but doesn't extend the months
