Samsung 32" UR59C Curved 4K UHD Monitor for $ 293.99+ tax (free shipping) at Samsung EPP Store. I am assuming that the same price will be there at EDU Store also. Costco has BF deal on the same monitor for 349+ Tax.
QA Note: Offer NLA for EPP Store, may be available for EDU Store.

That depends on what YOU want out of a monitor. The Dell is brighter, has HDR and has height adjustment. The Samsung has wider viewing angles and faster response time. Both are only 60Hz refresh though. There's several other 32" monitors on sale right now for under $300 that are as good as either of these, if not better, that have 165Hz refresh and low response.

I had the same issue. The display port version on the monitor defaults to 2.0 and that seems like a new standard. So the monitor keeps on turning on and off. Go to the settings of the monitor and change the version to 1.1 that should fix the issue. After i did that i have no issues with restards.
