YMMV The coupon code used by the agent was CCHOLIDAY25. Hope its useful to someone. The chat representative didnt give this coupon code to me, but when the payment link was generated by the rep, i saw it on the payment page.

HP has ran out of the backlit black keyboards! You can now only get the backlit option if you order silver or rose, both with silver keyboard. This is not surprising since white backlit shows up best with black background keys. silver background keyboards don't have as high visibility as black background keys with white backlit.

Great deal tbh, probably the best deal with a 5500U, compared to the other i3/i5 and even i7 deals, 5500U almost always comes out on top.
2 RAM slots, replaceable NVME and WiFi card, FHD IPS screen
only downside is the not so great battery size and probably not so great build quality.
but for sub-400, this is a no-brainer and can handle pretty much anything you can throw at it, especially if you take the 2x8GB 3200 RAM upgrade.
just wish other retails can price match on specific builds.

It cant be guaranteed. They put a cancellation request in. Takes 24-48 hrs to find out if it's accepted. I was told almost always it is by the rep IF it hasn't shipped yet.

Hi, I'm going thru my employer's website (perksatwork) to buy this, but I'm still seeing the same price of $349.99, even when I click register for EPP. Do you know how I can get the 321.99 thru EPP? Appreciate your quick help, I want to order this today for my dad.
I was told by a customer service rep that since the HP pricing/discount is way less than the epp discount they process just the HP discount and do not combine the epp and HP discount. I was hoping to double dip on the discounts too, it looked like a few buyers reported they were able to earlier on in the deal.

They then created the account for me then when I clicked the link in this thread it showed the $321.99 price before any adjustments.

My final deal was $321.99 (with EPP account) and used a $20 off coupon I received by signing up for their newsletter to make it $301.99. I added some features to make it more $$ but that's the base price I got it down to.

Thank you for the details. Good for you that you got the EPP when they were allowing the price to go down for EPP. You must've done this yesterday or earlier, I think. Today it seems to be the same price for EPP and on the site - $349.99 base price for black, or $339.99 base price for silver. They won't go below that. I asked them to add my $20 discount code and the lady on the phone (took upwards of 1 hr to get someone on the line) refused to apply the newsletter discount code I gave her. I guess it depends on one's luck and today is not my lucky day

Click the other reason, "Ready To Buy", and you'll be connected in less than 5 minutes. I had my computer up for 30-45 mins after selecting "Need order status or returns" and never got connected.
Is EPP dead? I'm in the HP Corporate Perks EPP and it's coming out to 364.99. $5 cheaper than going through HP direct. Wish it was $321 like others got
