Does anyone have experience with Thrustmasters? If not this model, other ones?

I hear thrustmasters have different force feedback than the Logitechs that feel more realistic, while Logitech has a more 'premium' feel. Both are good, Logitech name will always add $ too. I haven't been following pricing so maybe someone else can give insight to how slick this is

For anybody in the know, will this also work with the series X? The descriptions only mention support for the Xbox one

This will work with the series X. I had one for a little bit but in the end decided racing wheels weren't for me.

Seems like a good deal but some of the reviews talk about how it broke after weeks/months of use.
The general consensus I can scope out is Logitech G29/920 is better quality/durability than Thrustmaster TMX/T150.

I'm very tempted but will prly wait patiently for another ~$200'ish deal on a Logitech set.

I bought one and I hope we get lucky and it lasts for some time. We play once a week and this is out first wheel but we love it so far.

I returned a g920 for this wheel several months back. The Logitech looks and feels significantly more premium but the Thrustmaster feels much more realistic when actually driving - seems to be due to it having a belt drive system or something.

This was 139 in Sept and 130 in June. Not that slick of a deal. Logitech uses plastic gears while thrustmasters are belt driven. Although it's stronger thrustmaster wheels have more board related issues that makes it just go crazy during the calibration phase. Some lucky few don't run into this issue

Doing more research on this it seems the gas pedal spring breaks for most people around the 4 month mark. The spring bends or breaks and no longer catches onto the pedal mechanism so the pedal loses all resistance. It seems repairable by putting in a new spring, which doesn't seem to be sold online but can be requested/bought from Thrustmaster customer support.

Regarding the force feedback/"steering feel" I believe Logitech is gears only and Thrustmaster is gears + belt, where the belt adds more realistic feeling. However, I saw some Youtube vids of ppl whose Thrustmaster wheels had some issues and broke.

If this were a major national B&M retailer like Walmart, Best Buy, Costco, or even Amazon, I might have more confidence, but from my understanding B&H is very difficult with returns, restocking fees, etc. so I don't wanna risk it.

Was going to pull the trigger but they're closed for Shabbat. Never seen that for an online store.

I've been researching the racing wheels for the last months or so and this is what I know.

This model, being an entry level system, at this price, is the best deal around, and I would jump on it.
Thrustmaster's steering feedback is better than the same class competition (Logitech G25/G920)
The con's are the wheel quality feels cheaper than the Logitech units. For me, I'd go with the better feedback. Also, the Logitech units are running at about $250 currently and so much more expensive.

Being entry level units, the foot pedals for both this and Logitech units are all just "meh", can't expect too much. Again, this is a great unit for entry level. (Doin't bother with those cheaper than $100 unit toys)

The next level up racing wheel will run you $300~$500 range, and then higher ranger will be $800~ $several thousand.

Best Buy current BF deal has this at $191, a lot of places even higher or out of stock.

That's funny. If the goal is to not work on the day of rest, you'd think it'd be fine to let an algorithm take orders and not fulfilling until the work week begins anew. But I don't practice religion, so I understand there's some catch that I'm missing. No work for AI either, perhaps? I'm beginning to see what Elon is on about...

Lol this was kinda funny because I went to my cousins for thanksgiving yesterday and found out he had this wheel. Used it for a bit, didn't like the pedals but the wheel itself was good. Not a hardcore gamer but have played with a couple other wheels before and something didn't fit right with this one. Maybe it was the game I was playing or the settings but idk I'd spend more on a better one

From reviews it seems the pedals are really cheap/crappy on these, worse than Logitech G29/920 pedals. Though this T150/TMX does have better steering feel force feedback "FFB".

Consensus from experts was to get T150/TMX PRO instead, $50-70 price difference for the better pedal set (TP3A) on the PRO models.
