Staring at this same monitor right now as I bought it early on in the pandemic because i had a feeling i'd be staring a lot at a screen, and wanted a good one. This isn't the greatest screen, but at this price, I thought it was just fine. The curve doesn't bother me at all - i wanted to feel enveloped when playing GTA and games, but even for office work (spreadsheets and word docs) it's great - splitting up the screen into two is super easy and having so much real estate is brilliant. Makes me wonder how much I would like the Samsung Odyssey G9 but that's basically 3X this one that I don't have anyway.

the only complaint i have is that sometimes the monitor blinks as if it were switching modes for some reason, I don't know if that's my PC connected to it or another reason.

Basically, I wanted to get into the ultrawide game, and this was the best low priced value monitor i could find! The bezel is thin and it functionally works well (raises up and down smoothly). Because of its size it's somewhat bulky but i never move it.

Two miniDisplay ports and 2 HDMI was helpful since I switch between work and personal laptop. Sidebar advice, don't do your personal stuff on your work PC! Assume they're watching you...

Tough call there. I'd have to have them side by side to know for sure and even then I may not know for sure.

Does this have a kvm switch built in so that I can easily switch between work laptop and PC?

Bought this months ago for work / Xbox. More than enough for work. Also amazing for Forza 5, halo infinite etc. not 4K minimal HDMIs and my display ports don't work. But other than that it's a fantastic monitor

Had this monitor for one day before returning it.

It wasn't a bad monitor, in fact I liked it. But there were two things I couldn't live with.

it's dim. If you're used to working with 400+ nit screens, this monitor is going to appear very dim for you. It's advertised at 300 nits but it seems even dimmer than that. Rtings confirms this in their testing.

Second which wasn't a huge issue but made a deal for me since I play a lot of FPS games. The ghosting was subtle but did make it an issue for me. I will say that for most, this will be a non factor or problem.

But for this price, I think it gets a strong recommendation from me. There are a lot of good monitor deals today.

I just bought (in back order) the 35" LG 35WN65C-B 3440x1440 100Hz UltraWide VA FreeSync Monitor for $350 at Costco.

Should I get this one instead, and cancel the LG monitor at Costco?

This used to be the regular price for 34" ultrawides, or less. Sad that this now the hot deal sale price.

Yeah same question here. I'm inclined to stick with Costco just for the better return policy. I don't have a good enough GPU for the faster refresh to matter.
